I am so glad RomCon let me come by and talk about my recent contemporary romance and my upcoming release!

It is a follow up book from Isabel’s Awakening. I couldn’t resist writing about Isabel’s younger sister and what would become of her.

Belong To You By Vi Keeland

How long have you been writing?
I’ve been writing since I was a teen. Over the years, I filled random notebooks with books started but never finished and outlined tons of story ideas and characters…but I didn’t find the courage to hit publish until January 2013. Now I can’t stop myself, by the end of the year I will have published four books!

Is your first book the USA Today bestseller?

Belong to You is the second book I published. It went live in April and did well on its own, climbing its way to number eight on the Amazon Erotica Best Seller list. But it was when the second book in the series (it’s a two part story) hit, that they both took off. Belong to You hit number one in Erotica and number thirty-one overall on Amazon, reaching the USA Today, Amazon and Barnes & Noble Best Seller lists. It’s beyond anything I could have ever imagined.  Read More

Today, in celebration of Bachelor’s Special—my latest release from the Indulgence line at Entangled Publishing—I’d like to share my top ten list of favorite snippets.

So let’s get started…

Christine’s TOP TEN snippets from Bachelor’s Special

1. Jill stared him steadily in the eyes, then licked her lips. “Can I think about it and get back to you?”
He laughed. “Nope, this offer is one-time only.” He glanced at his watch. “You have sixty seconds.” Read More

The Santana Heir By Elizabeth Lane

Blog Diva - Thursday, July 04, 2013

What if you had to make a heartbreaking choice? What if you learned that the child you were about to adopt—the only child you would ever have--was heir to a vast South American fortune? Could you choose between giving him up or raising him, not as his mother, but as a servant on the lush Peruvian estate?

And what if the boy’s handsome but ruthless uncle stole your heart—but in a culture where family and bloodlines were everything, you knew that, although he might take you as his mistress, he would never marry a woman who couldn’t give him children?  Read More

Twelve Months Later…

By Tracy Brogan

On July 1st, 2012, I was pretty happy. For one thing, it was the middle of summer. It’s far easier to be happy in Michigan in the middle of summer than it is in the middle of winter! Trust me on that, you southerners, with all your fancy-shmancy, year-round sunshine.
I had some other lovely reasons to be happy, too. Soon, I’d be heading off to Anaheim, California, to attend the Romance Writers of America® conference. I’d be sporting my second Golden Heart Finalist ribbon, this time for my historical novel, HIGHLAND SURRENDER. (The year before that, I’d been nominated in the Novel with Romantic Elements category for my contemporary romance, CRAZY LITTLE THING.) Read More

What If You Can’t Be What Your Man Wants and Deserves?

My husband Chris is a musician. Before your mind jumps to long hair and groupies, let me clarify: he’s a classical musician. He makes his living playing the clarinet in orchestras, operas and chamber groups.

I am not a musician. Despite the best efforts of my Asian mother, I never mastered an instrument. My sister and I took piano lessons for twelve years. Toward the end, our progress was so painfully lacking that our teacher refused to take our mother’s money. Read More

Probably the most asked question of writers is “Where do your ideas come from?” For me, they come in bits and pieces often written on note cards all over my house. I picked up a few today as I walked toward my study: “Ice storm in Harmony---someone falls.” –was on the landing. “If he had double the horse sense, he’d still be too dumb to make change.”-was on by my bed. “Your eyes are so blood shot they look like a map of Georgia.”-was written in my notes where I’d copied a line from an old song. Read More

Every little girl dreams of being a princess. Every woman longs to be treated like royalty. We’re all just a little bit fascinated by royal weddings and the princess that lives in every woman. That’s why I hope readers will fall in love with Once Upon a Prince, the first release in my Royal Wedding Series.

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek into a very special scene!

She wore the only white gown in a sea of color. She tried not to notice she’d missed the dress code as she turned about the floor—on gold Louboutin tip toe—in Nathaniel’s arms. And everyone watched. Gawked. Read More

Why I Put The Love Of My Life In My Book

The year before my daughter was born, I got a puppy. Though my family had an awesome dog when I was growing up, this was my first dog as an adult. Kind of kid training with four legs and fur. A coworker’s black lab had knocked up a stray mutt, so she was giving away the little fur balls for free. I don’t remember the moment I picked my boy out, but I know it was love at first sight.

Because he was always either barreling through something, or passed out in a heap, I named him Dozer. He quickly became the love of my life. Read More
