Snow In The South By Dani Wade

Blog Diva - Wednesday, December 19, 2012

My debut e-release, Snow Bound, finds my characters in an unusual situation for southern Tennessee.

You see, we handle snow a little differently here. People transplanted from the north think we’re a little crazy. That’s okay, though we prefer the term “eccentric”. You see, while a few inches of snow means business as usual for most folks, the southern US isn’t equipped to keep the roads free and clear – and you wouldn’t want us on the road unless they were, trust me.  Read More

Star Of Wonder By Angel Payne

Happy Holidays to all! I really hope that your season is gorgeous, delicious, merry and bright so far—and that everyone’s absolutely chalked up more tallies in the “Naughty” column than the “Nice” column. (C’mon…don’t say I’m the only one here in not-so-obedient land…he he he…)

Speaking of our favorite naughty subject—and that would be naughty MEN, am I right?—I am REALLY excited to introduce you to the next Dom who stomped in and basically hijacked my imagination for a few months. He’s the 3rd featured hero of my Kinky Truth series for Loose-Id, and he’s been basically demanding to be let out for the chance to meet everyone!  Read More

Taming Angelina By Helen Hardt

Blog Diva - Thursday, November 29, 2012

Thank you for having me today at the RomCon Category Romance blog! Taming Angelina released November 23 at Musa Publishing. It’s the first in my new trilogy set in the fictional small western town of Bakersville, Colorado. Bakersville is also the home of my multi-award-winning McCray Brothers series. The first in that series, Ivy League Cowboy, won the 2012 RomCon Reader’s Crown award, and the second, A Cowboy and a Gentleman, was a finalist. If you read Ivy League Cowboy, you’ve already met Angelina Bay, and you know she’s a spoiled ranch heiress. Do you doubt she can be tamed? So did I, at first. Enter Rafe Grayhawk—strong, ethical, and of course, hot as all get out. Sparks are sure to fly! I hope you enjoy Taming Angelina.  Read More

The Kinky Truth Series continues with PERMANENT MARKER…Rose and Mark’s Story

You ever get one of those emails that thrills you and terrifies you at once? Mine came on a Sunday morning, one of my favorite “creative times”—and a fact for which I was very glad, because of the message I received. It was my fearless leader from Loose-Id Publications, asking if I’d considered a name for my book series. Read More

Welcome To The Market By Sorcha Mowbray

The brothel that centers in Love Revealed and Love Redeemed (releasing November 13th), and in one more novella in the series, was born out of necessity. I had this idea of two people who know each other in passing discover that they “know” each other in a much more physically intimate sense. But how? I mean, they couldn’t, very well, not make the connection if they have met in society and then end up sleeping together in another setting. Hmmm….

A mask!

If they wore masks when they were together initially then they wouldn’t recognize each other as their lover when they met in public. But, why would they have a mask on? Well, to hide their identity. Duh! A masked ball wouldn’t work. So where would they be that they would want to hide who they are? Oh… A brothel! Hmmm….  Read More

Playing Musical Chairs: The Fun of creating THREE-PART HARMONY, and what the next stanza is going to sound like…

I’m so grateful to the wonderful team at RomCon for allowing me the chance to talk a bit more about my debut novel for Loose Id, THREE-PART HARMONY.

The response for the story has been nothing short of a humbling and amazing experience. The reader reviews and the critical praise has meant so much, especially when I see that people seem to “get” and love the Triumvirate of Torrid, David, Dasha and Kress. Characters are key to me. They matter even more than the sex (yes, believe it or not!) and I do pour my own heart and soul into them, to try and make them diverse, interesting people. Sometimes that’s easier said than done, especially when your heroine is a pop star! Suffice it to say…I’ve never been a pop star. People, you don’t even want to hear me sing in the shower, believe me!  Read More

Are there many erotic romances that involve married couples? Not many I've discovered. Most books involve two complete strangers, two people who have known each other in the past and reconnected, two people who are committed, and that's just possibilities for two people! I didn't even hit on a threesome or other group scenarios. So back to my question--have you read many erotic romances of married couples? Read More

A Little Sass by Jennifer Probst

Blog Diva - Wednesday, October 03, 2012

Who doesn’t like a little sass in their romance novels?

Give me a mouthy, snarky heroine pit against an alpha type male and I go liquid. A woman who doesn’t cower or duck her head when challenged. A female who may have her stomach quivering with nerves but gets right back in the hero’s face and sneers.

It’s hard to imagine a year has passed since coming up with an idea for a series. Last October my family and I traveled to Salem MA to see all the Halloween festivities. I’d never been during the season, but always longed to go. We took two of our daughters and some friends with us. We set the teens free to do what they wanted while we explored the history. Read More
