The truth behind Khloe Adams is—she’s not one author but three. Plus, one of the authors is a USA TODAY Bestseller and has written over 75 books. Together, they write hot and sexy contemporary romance with a touch of humor.
Their story began when they met each other on an elevator at a Romantic Times Convention. Only this was no ordinary ride. The elevator became stuck between the fiftieth and fifty-first floors at the hotel.
But don’t get worried. They write romance, not horror.
They were trapped with a male model from the cover of several steamy romances. He kept them very entertained. Afterward, they needed a drink to cool down and headed for the nearest bar.
One thing led to another and they decided to form a partnership and write about independent women and strong, sexy guys. With the help of modern technology, they’ve managed to do it. Two of them live in Florida, and the other one lives in Colorado. A recent USA TODAY review said, "Khloe Adams writes hot with a flair—great humor." Read More
I’m excited to be kicking off, what I hope to be a banner year, by guest blogging for the fabulous RomCon team. For those who don’t know, let me share a little about myself. I’m a southern wife, beard supporter, homeschool momma of two taekwondo badass chicks and a self-proclaimed pug wrangler.
So what do I do in between? I write steamy, wine worthy stories, of course!
In the pool of the Romance, it was a quick jump into the deep end for me. I have fallen head over heels in love with writing stories drenched in strong characters and intriguing (often, dark) plots.
I love connecting with readers. Find my contact information below and swing by to say hello!

What is Alicia’s Possession?
Alicia’s Possession is a mystery novel. It’s a psychological thriller. It’s an erotic romance.
I tell you this so that you don’t go into it expecting page after page of hot, steamy sex. Oh, it’s there all right, with bondage and Dominance and submission, but that is only part of the story.
Alicia has returned to her affluent lakeside home to recuperate from the horrific car crash that left her in a coma for two months, as well as come to terms with her husband’s infidelity and their impending divorce. All this has led to her depression to the point of agoraphobia, but she frequently hears the often violent arguments of her neighbors, Judith and Daniel. One night, the sound of gunshots jerks Alicia out of her sleep. When she looks across the lake, she is certain she sees someone stuffing a body into the trunk of a car before racing away from her neighbors' house.
Against the advice of her estranged husband, Alicia calls the police; but the detective assigned to investigate, Mason Crawley, agrees with Alicia's husband, that she imagined it—especially after he sees her washing down pain pills with gulps of wine. Mason’s suspicions become aroused, however, when he talks to Judith, who says her husband is away on business and can't be reached. Then he gets a mysterious call warning him to stop trying to find the missing neighbor. Read More
It's only been a week since Claiming Catherine was published and it's made quite a stir. It rocketed up Amazon's charts and has sat at #1 in three categories all this time.
The premise of the story is a mail order bride coming to Liberty, Montana to begin her life with her new husband, Jake Bridger. But Liberty isn't a normal town and wives have strict rules to adhere to. As we're in the Erotic category, this book is obviously hot and a prime example of escapist fiction. It is the first in a series of three books, the second, Taming Tessa, comes out on 12/4
If you like erotic romance--mail order brides, Montana, historical westerns, with a whole lot of male dominance--enjoy! Read More
Romance novels have been a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine since forever. In college, I would pray to get stuck at the train crossing just so I could get a few more pages in before class. Now, I keep one stashed in my purse at all times. Thankfully, I’ve started listening to audiobooks in the car, so I don’t have horns blaring at me any more when the red light turns to green! Plus, there’s really no better way to get through a root canal than to listen to a hot erotic scene on your phone while the dentist is doing his thing.
It was only natural for my writing to go in the Romance direction. Erotic romance was only a small skip down the romance road, and one that I am having a blast traveling down. Not just because I get to play out fantasies on paper, but because there are so many places to go within the genre. The characters could have a heavy kink element to their relationship, they could have a light Domination/submission aspect or they could just like to get down and dirty in the bedroom, and I get to play in whichever sandbox I chose! Decisions! Decisions!
I think I have the most fun writing erotic romance because D/s a part of my life outside of my writing. Recently, I was asked if I felt a responsibility to portray the lifestyle in true form, and my answer is yes. I feel an obligation not only to the members of the BDSM community, but also to my readers. There is romance in daily Dominant/submissive relationships. There is love and passion. There is also some really hot, kinky sex. I like showing the reality of it all. Read More
Technology is everywhere these days. We use it in just about everything we do and we’ve found digital alternatives to everything – the trusty vinyl record is gathering dust in the attic while everyone listens to MP3 files. VHS got thrown on the scrap heap by DVDs which in turn are mournfully shaking their fists at the MP4, and in literature the paperback has been joined by the ebook.
Technology and communications have made it possible to do just about everything from your sofa. We can buy our groceries online and get them delivered to our door. We can share our holiday photos with everyone we know, all at once through social networks. We write electronic letters to our family and friends and we don’t even have to be in the same country to have a face to face conversation with someone.
I work in digital media and as my staff get younger and more tech savvy the more I find a reluctance in people to want to communicate physically. Text messages, Snapchat, Email, Facebook, Twitter…all perfectly acceptable methods of communication. But pick up a phone and speak to someone? Well now that requires a good ten minutes of mental preparation to overcome the nerves of actually talking to a real person. Read More
Excerpt: From Novella 1 to avoid spoilers.
Getting sexually accosted in Starbucks wasn’t on my to-do list.
My stiletto heels were sharp, like the angles of my razor cut bob and one tapped on the floor as I stood in line, impatient to get my hands on a Latte. The intense aromas in the shop made me crave my morning drink even more. I’d not had time for one before I’d left my apartment this morning, anxious to be punctual for my appointment. I stared ahead at the menu board, careful to avoid catching anyone else’s eye. My lips with their natural pout, enhanced by rose gloss, smacked together as I anticipated my interview at Gregory & Sons, a firm of Solicitors in Westminster in just shy of an hour’s time. Every time I thought of it, butterflies tingled in my stomach.
Lost in the menu, I jump as a warm body brushes past my own, so close I can identify him as male. I turn around, a flash of fire in my cheeks, eyes narrowing.
‘I must apologise, I completely misjudged how to get past.’
I take in the businessman in front of me, holding his drink with a firm hand. His laptop bag hangs over a broad shoulder. Dark brown hair curls around the nape of his neck, like he’s so damn sexy even his hair wants to cop a feel, and his icy grey eyes indicate the casualness of his apology, echoed in his mocking tone.
I tuck my long fringe behind my ear and turn back to face the front. I’m better off just ignoring the creep, hot or not. Read More
Thank you RomCon for having me at your blog – I love talking romance, history and erotica to anyone who will listen.
I am watching FIFA World Cup soccer today and admiring the fit, beautiful men who seem to be part of every team. Historical writers also enjoy writing about fit, beautiful men of the time. Whether they boxed at Gentleman Jackson’s Pugilist Club, raced curricles in Brighton or hunted foxes in Derbyshire, our ton gentlemen were usually first rate sportsmen. We don’t always write about their pursuits but it is assumed that in addition to their ability to waltz perfectly, win big at the gaming tables and dazzle every woman of their acquaintance, our historical gents have it all. They could probably play soccer too, if necessary.
So let me tell you about my latest, Book Three in the Mad Duchesses series, titled Age of Innocence. My dear Ferdinand Ford is a ton gentleman and all around sportsman. But he has a secret.
I know we writers tend to portray our Regency men as rakes and scoundrels. Ferd has a small supporting role in the Wicked Affairs series and I knew at some point I was going to write about him – I just didn’t know his back-story until Lettie came to life as a widow looking for love after two unsuccessful marriages.
